What you will be doing

Regulatory leadership and governance
  • Act as the Conducting Officer responsible for Compliance and AML for the Luxembourg office, overseeing compliance matters across AIF administration, domiciliation and corporate services activities
Operational oversight and service delivery
  • Supervise the registrar function for the AIF administration business, including oversight of unit holder and shareholder registers
  • Manage regulatory reporting to the CSSF and support ongoing compliance with applicable CSSF rules, circulars, guidance and regulatory expectations
Compliance advisory, monitoring and risk management
  • Provide practical compliance and AML guidance, advice and training to new joiners and existing colleagues across the Luxembourg business
  • Identify, assess and monitor compliance risks, including risks arising from new products, services, client mandates and business activities
  • Maintain and update the Compliance Monitoring Plan, carry out regular control assessments and issue clear, risk-based recommendations for remediation and improvement
  • Oversee KYC and AML due diligence processes, including periodic reviews of existing files and compliance assessment of new client onboardings
Audit, controls and assurance
  • Oversee the outsourced internal audit function, including coordination of audit planning, follow-up of findings and reporting to relevant stakeholders
Corporate authority and business development
  • Act as an authorised signatory of the PSF and, where required, serve as a director of Luxembourg-domiciled entities
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by supporting client engagement, networking activity and participation in relevant industry events and conferences
  • Play an active role in the day-to-day management of the PSF, contributing to operational decision-making and the continued development of the Luxembourg business

What you will need

  • Permanently based in Luxembourg, with the ability to fulfil the local responsibilities and regulatory expectations associated with the role
  • Significant experience in a comparable senior compliance, AML or regulatory role, with previous experience as a Compliance Officer considered advantageous
  • Relevant professional qualification in Compliance and Risk Management, Law, Finance or a related discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of alternative investment fund structures and the regulatory considerations applicable to fund administration and related services
  • Proven ability to operate at senior level, bringing sound judgement, technical credibility and strong compliance expertise to Board and management discussions
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance regulatory obligations with practical, proportionate and business-aware compliance solutions
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a results-focused approach and the ability to manage priorities effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong professional fluency in English and the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
